In Case You Hadn't Noticed...

Just in case you hadn't noticed, I thought I'd point out that posting has been anything but consistent over the past couple months. Between my work/grad school schedule, and my sister Ashton's computer breaking (in addition to moving to a new place and dealing with other life changes), we just don't have time to post five days a week.

So, going forward, we're only going to post when we feel like it. What does that mean? Well, first, it means that there won't be a post every day...or, there might be multiple posts on a single day. It depends on our available time and our inspiration. It also means that we're only going to post about things that we really want to, that we really care about.

That's it! We hope you'll still stick around and read what we write but if you don't, we're fine with just writing for ourselves :)

Failure to Post

You may have noticed that we haven't posted in the past week. We were planning to post. But a variety of things - chiefly in the form of final projects (Adri) and lack of internet service (Ashton) got in the way. We'll be resuming our normal posting schedule soon, and we have a lot to show you! Everything from winter wedding stuff (Ashton) to holiday apartment decor (Adri), next week should be fun & festive!

Brief Sabbatical...

The blog is on a brief sabbatical while Adri prepares to start grad school. Posting will resume on Monday, if not sooner.

Finals Are Taking Their Toll

It's been unusually quiet around here for the past few days. And if you're wondering why, it's because I (Adri) am in the midst of studying for finals. So far I've taken two of my four final exams, but the most difficult ones are still ahead. Tomorrow I take my French exam and Wednesday night, I take my final exam in Recreation & Leisure. So expect content to continue to be sparse until then :).

Speaking of Wednesday night, in case you hadn't heard, the National Ride of Silence is taking place at 7:00PM in cities all across the nation. Even if you're not a cyclist, chances are you at least know one, so I encourage you to participate. I, unfortunately, will not be able to participate thanks to that blasted final.

So, what is this all about?

Nothing. And everything.


I've tried blogging in the past and failed, if blogging failure can be defined as posting less than three times a year. I'm trying something different with this blog. Instead of trying to make each post insightful, witty, or interesting, I'm simply going to post about whatever strikes my fancy. I'm not sure what these posts will be about, but they'll most likely be a combination of funny/satirical posts, musings about life, events, photos I enjoy, poems I've read recently, quotes I've been pondering, and whatever else I deem worthy to share. This blog is chiefly for my own amusement, but please feel free to comment - I'd love to enter into a conversation with you!
